Theatre In The Park is honored to sponsor a $1,000 theatre scholarship for graduating seniors.
Selection criteria will be based on the following:
- Be a graduating senior participating in a high school theatre arts program
- Overall GPA
- Chosen Major/Minor in Theatre Arts
- Have participated in a Theatre In The Park production in the last two (2) years

FREE Master Classes
Feel free to come and watch; a master class format does not require that everyone participate as actors.
Those wishing to participate, please bring one 2-minute monologue. As time allows, those participating will have a chance to repeat their audition using the feedback received from the instructors.

Conducted by Actor/Director Eric Carl (most recently seen as Prior Walter in ANGELS IN AMERICA), Actor/Director David Henderson (best known as A CHRISTMAS CAROL's Jacob Marley), Director Carnessa Ottelin (TIP Board of Directors and Education Committee member), and others.
JULY 8th @ 6pm - CHILD / YOUTH AUDITION MASTER CLASS (Under 18)
Conducted by Actor/Director Adam Twiss (TIP's Development Director) and Actor Mike Raab (best known as A CHRISTMAS CAROL's Ghost of Christmas Future and BRIARPATCH's Br'er Turtle).

Theatre In The Park has a rich history of theatre arts education stemming from its 1947 founding as The Children’s Theatre of Raleigh to its current position as the largest non-profit, performing arts organization in North Carolina.
Classes and workshops taking place during our 2007-2008 season will be scheduled and announced promptly. Plans are being formalized to develop additional classroom and performance space at the theatre, allowing for expanded, year-round programming.
Theatre In The Park is committed to offering educational and training opportunities to the public and encourages all those interested to audition and volunteer at the theatre.
